Rumors, Envy, Splendor Reviews

In honor of the Bright, Young and Luxe Giveaway, I decided to share my reviews for the last 3 in The Luxe series.

I never got to writing one for Luxe but maybe I'll try to have one out by the end of this week.

Rumors (Luxe, #2)Rumors by Anna Godbersen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
!!! 4.5 stars
I think this would be one of the books that Diana Holland reads alone in her room.
It's really great, and I'll admit I'm prone to spoilers so after I read what would happen that just drove me more. There were moments where I think I was reading with my mouth wide open; it's all so shocking. Well alright not really, most of it was actually expected but still. Towards the end I was actually admiring Anna Godbersen for coming up with the story and questioning how she did.

Envy (Luxe, #3)Envy by Anna Godbersen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book is filled with desperate scheming backstabbers... and I love them all. I saw it more of a interlude to the second and the forth books just staring the final storyline; because like I said everyone was taking some pretty desperate measures to get what they want. But of course we need one more book for them to actually end up happy.

Splendor (Luxe, #4)Splendor by Anna Godbersen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I love endings like this!

It is the end right? Because as much as I love these characters I don't think I could read anymore of their dramas (even though they are really good). Well maybe just Teddy he should get his own spin-off; I don't know why I really liked him probably because he was mostly on the sidelines of everything else that was going on with his friends and he was pretty much the voice of reason in all this.

As for the actual story it had a lot of emotions flying around, well mostly for Henry and the Holland sisters the other two kind of got what they deserved.

And there were a few moments where it would sort of lag and the constant talk of what everyone was wearing got a little dull truthfully I don't think it was as good as the rest of the series it was just missing something the others had, possibly the scheming and backstabbing. Or maybe my ebook was abridged and I wasn't informed so mine literally was missing all that.
