Dusty Reads (4)

Dusty Reads is a weekly meme hosted by Xpresso Reads, featuring a book that has been sitting unread on a home shelf for some time.

Two Girls of GettysburgLizzie and Rosanna are cousins. But when the Civil War breaks out, Lizzie finds herself committed to the cause of the Union, while Rosie is swept up in the passions of the old south. Torn in their alliances, each girl finds herself grappling with the brutality of war, and the elusive promise of love, until the battle at Gettysburg brings them together once again.

This was actually one of the last books I bought at Borders last year. I don't know if I ever mentioned it but most of my books on my shelf aren't that dusty. Well that's not true they are pretty dusty; it's annoying I know I've gotten lazy but I don't remember so  much dust in the past. The longest a book has been on my shelf is maybe from last May, not long considering what I've heard (and seen) from others.
