Twins Sera and Luke Raine have a well-kept secret—she heals with a touch of her hand, he sees the future. All their lives they’ve helped those in need on the sly. They’ve always thought of their abilities as being a gift.

Then Luke has a vision that Sera is killed. That gift they’ve always cherished begins to feel an awful lot like a curse. Because the thing about Luke’s ability? He’s always right. And he can’t do anything about it.

Intuition: A Bonus INTANGIBLE Short Story

Luke and his twin sister Sera have unusual abilities. Hers is a gift—she can heal with a touch of her hand. His is a curse—he can see the future but he can’t do anything about it.

On a hike up the mountain, Luke has a vision unlike any other—one that leaves him terrified. Knowing that it will come true—and that he must do everything in his power to stop it—leaves his own future uncertain.

Intuition: Well if that doesn't make you want to read the story I don't know what will. Can I give a short story 5 stars?

Intangible: While I was getting ready to start reading Intangible I noticed that it had a short prequel to it, what better way to see what I'm about to get into then with a short story about it. As you can see from my very short review on it above, I couldn't wait to start reading the full story.

Which is most likely why I got a little annoyed while reading. Well annoyed might be too strong a word, but more than once I was thinking "THIS isn't what I expected!".
I don't know how much of a spoiler this is, since I read it in another review and if you look on Goodreads people have shelved it under the genre, but there are vampires involved. I don't have a problem with vampires, I really don't, I love paranormal. But I guess I was just a little thrown off by them. How do vampires work into this? I guess I felt like it wasn't paranormal enough to have vampires maybe, I don't know.

But I did get passed them, enough to really enjoy it. Again, I wish I could just write: "I liked it, I really liked it!" and call it a day.

I loved Luke and Sera, the way they and their relationship is written is awesome. They really are the perfect whole, they're good separate but when they're together they're beyond great.
I want a psychic twin now. Actually, no, that is something I've been saying since I was a kid. So really this was the perfect thing to remind me of that.

Pros:...Um how 'bout everything? Prophecies, twin powers, dark secrets, lots and lots of untold secrets.

Cons: I'm sorry but I'm going to have to attack some of the characters. It shouldn't come as a surprise that I didn't really care for the vampire Jonas. It's not that I didn't like him, it was really take it or leave it with him, but maybe I just didn't get to know him enough?
Also their friend Quinn was totally random, if this were a murder mystery he'd be the one you'd be lead to suspect before you're told that the butler did it.

I almost ended this without saying anything about the overall story. Well like I said under "Pro," it's about a prophecy. I love prophecies, I'm a believer in fate, so I love seeing (or reading) people trying to avert it and finding out that you can't.
Which is also why I loved Luke's visions, just wondering how his actions would affect the outcome of it all.
