Insatiable Giveaway

Hi everyone!
Can we just take a quick moment and... well I don't know what, but this is my second to last giveaway for the Meg-a-Readers and as far as I can see these will be my last until maybe mid-fall.

Second to last giveaway, second to last week... sad.

Moving on to a less nostalgic note. Mandy and I have combined giveaways and are both giving away signed copies of Insatiable and it's sequel Overbite!

Insatiable (Insatiable, #1)Sick of hearing about vampires? So is Meena Harper.

Meena Harper is familiar with the supernatural. After all, she knows how you're going to die. (Not that you're going to believe her. No one ever does.) But not even Meena's precognition can prepare her for Lucien Antonescu--whom she meets and then makes the mistake of falling in love with--a modern-day prince with a bit of a dark side for which an ancient society of vampire hunters would prefer to see him dead.

The problem is Lucien's already dead. Maybe that's why he's the first guy Meena's ever met with whom she could imagine herself having a future. See, while Meena's always been able to see everyone else's destiny, she's never been able to look into her own. Lucien seems to be everything Meena has ever dreamed of in a boyfriend, though he might turn out to be more of a nightmare.

So now would be a good time for Meena to start learning to predict her own future... if she has one.

Overbite (Insatiable, #2)Meena Harper has a special gift, but it's only now that anyone's ever appreciated it. The Palatine Guard — a powerful secret demon-hunting unit of the Vatican — has hired her to work at their new branch in Lower Manhattan. With Meena's ability to predict how everyone she meets will die, the Palatine finally has a chance against the undead.

Sure, her ex-boyfriend was Lucien Antonescu, son of Dracula, the prince of darkness. But that was before he (and their relationship) went up in flames. Now Meena's sworn off vampires for good ... at least until she can prove her theory that just because they've lost their souls doesn't mean demons have lost the ability to love.

Meena knows convincing her co-workers — including her partner, ├╝ber-demon-hunter Alaric Wulf — that vampires can be redeemed won't be easy ... especially when a deadly new threat seems to be endangering not just lives of the Palatine, but Meena's friends and family as well.

But Meena isn't the Palatine's only hope. Father Henrique — aka Padre Caliente — New York City's youngest, most charming priest, has also been assigned to the case.

So why doesn't Meena — or Alaric — trust him?

As she begins unraveling the truth, Meena finds her loyalties tested, her true feelings laid bare ... and temptations she never even imagined existed, but finds impossible to resist.

This time, Meena may finally have bitten off more than she can chew.

I absolutely loved Insatiable, which I read a few weeks ago for the Meg-a-Readers read-a-thon, not only was it the second vampire novel I gave a 5 to this year it was the second vampire novel I gave a 5 to in all time. And this one is a romance. Although it is a Meg Cabot novel so I shouldn't be too surprised.
It could have been a few 50-100 pages shorter, some things felt dragged on but I know if they had been glazed over I'd complain about that too.
It was slow to start but once the story fully developed (or you know when the vamp hunter showed up) I couldn't stop. Which I haven't done since the last Meg Cabot book I gave 5 stars to.

I'm still working my way through Overbite, like Meena I think I might have bitten off more than I can chew in the book department this week.
