Valentine's Quotable Quote

Before I share my quote can we talk about Valentine's Day?

Some people are into it, some aren't. Am I the only one noticing that the people that aren't into it talk about it way more than the people that are?
These people will go on and on about why they refuse to acknowledge the day, but they are acknowledging it by doing so.

I used to agree with those people, but then I realized 1) I was agreeing with them and 2) it's such a trend.
And I'm the type to go against agreeing with people and their trends.

Which is actually an Oscar Wilde quote:
“Everything popular is wrong.”

So, Happy Valentine's Day!

Here are some oh so mushy love quotes to get you through the day:
Or not, I'm not really into that myself.

“You don't love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.”
― Oscar Wilde

“I can tell you that you will have your hearts broken more by the people you love than by the people you hate. But you must still dare to love. The rewards are worth far more than the risks.”
― Margaret Peterson Haddix

“Let this night remind us to celebrate love, whenever it comes, in whatever form it appears, however enduring or fleeting it may be. For whether we search for love or are surprised by it, it always transforms us in ways we never expect.”
― Suzanne Harper

“Love is found when you don't have to give it. It is the emotion of generosity and kindness that is compelled by no one. It is performed on the battlefield, in our daily tasks, in the marketplace, the factories, at school, in the offices, and in the halls and corridors of government.... But only when one truly gives of himself and without compulsion.”
― James Michael Pratt

“Love doesn't want people to stay ignorant and frightened. Love doesn't value obedience over all else. Love doesn't judge and find some lives--or loves--more valuable than others. Love doesn't use people and throw them away. Love stays, and makes you stronger, even when the person you love is gone.”
― Stacey Jay

“The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
― David Bowie

“To live is to love, to love is to live.”
― Libba Bray

And for you anti-V Day's:

"love is not just excitement, tenderness, feeling special; it is also a bone-crushing reality of pain.”
― Melissa A. Hanson

“Love is all right, as things go, but lovers can be a terrible waste of a girl's time.”
― Anna Godbersen

“We are never so defenseless against suffering as when we love.”
― Sigmund Freud

“But it was time to realize that I wasn't Cinderella, and no matter how hard I wished it were true, life wasn't a fairy tale where everyone lives happily ever after.”
― Michelle Madow

“Are you inferior if you don't have a boyfriend? Why does everybody have to be in love with somebody?”
― Ann Brashares

That sounded so incredibly romantic. Of course, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet had thought the same thing in Titanic. And look how that had ended.”
― Rachel Hawthorne

“if you need this one day in a year to show everyone else you truly care for “your loved one” I think it’s quite stupid. I hate this commercialism. It’s all artificial, and has nothing to do with real love.”
― Jess C. Scott,

And because I was so smitten with The Goddess Inheritance last month that I had every intention on featuring the trilogy today, (I didn't because I did find some self-control, plus I'm doing a goddess week when it comes out.):

"I’ve never felt like this for anyone. And I’m not really sure what falling in love feels like, but I think—I know I have. With you.”

“No matter what happens, I will always be there for you, even if you do not remember who I am.”

“Love is the way I feel for you, the way you fill something inside me whenever you so much as walk into the same room. Sometimes love is quite, lingering in the background until you least expect it. But love it always there for you”

“Live this love now and never stop.”
-Aimee Carter
