It's that time again, the only time of year I share love quotes. If anything I get the feeling most of my quotes from the past few months have been kind of negative.
Or, you know, non-loving.
It's probably why it took me a while to find any. Which is why I won't be doing like last year and sharing both love quotes and "non-love" quotes.
“Love: a single word, a wispy thing, a word no bigger or longer than an edge. That's what it is: an edge; a razor. It draws up through the center of your life, cutting everything in two. Before and after. The rest of the world falls away on either side.”
― Lauren Oliver, Delirium
“I think when you fall in love, like true love, it's love for life. All the rest is just experience and delusions.”
― J.A. Redmerski, The Edge of Never
“Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and a richness to life that nothing else can bring.”
― Oscar Wilde
“Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get - only with what you are expecting to give - which is everything”
― Katharine Hepburn, Me: Stories of My Life
“Art and love are the same thing: It’s the process of seeing yourself in things that are not you.”
― Chuck Klosterman, Killing Yourself to Live: 85% of a True Story
"Every great love starts with a great story...”
― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
