Birthday Giveaway!

I am late posting this, I said I'd forget last week, but it's mainly because I have been perfectly fine not getting anything done this past week. Oddly enough though; I have been more or less productive getting "necessary" things done. So, win?
It's safe to say this past week I've accepted that it really is time to say goodbye to the blog. I'm no longer the person I once was?
Yes that is a question.
I can't explain (though I'll probably try during my final week in April) but I feel like something has changed.

Don't worry it's nothing like the friend you had in high school who suddenly get's a boyfriend and can't remember what their life was like before him. "Books? I remember when I had time for those. Back when I didn't have better things going on."

I'm more like the friend who discovered religion or a new way of living. (Without giving up on my past.)
Like I no longer wake up in the middle of the night freaking out over my lack of accomplishments (though I do still have my moments when people brag about themselves) instead I just roll over and think "hey it's cool." The first time I did this was on January 1st and the full moon was shining through my curtain so I've started crediting the moon goddess for the mellow attitude towards what many would consider my "short comings." Ditto with last night's almost full moon, it was there for what was suppose to be my middle of the night "holy crap what have I done with my 20's?!" birthday freak out. There was a minor "I have how many years until I'm 30?!" moment but nothing to hyperventilate about. (Although I'm sure that one will have it's recurring moments.)

I've written more than I thought I would. I was ready to just pull out an old post from a past birthday. Not that there have been too many, only mention made last year was about how crappy it was because I had a complete melt down. (I blame the people who brag about themselves and my listing my short comings.)
It really did suck. Today has been pretty good (though my trigger; who also helped set me off last year, hasn't shown up yet.)
Plus no matter how bad the day could have turned out, I have something to look forward to next week, my gift to myself: Aladdin at the Pantages in Hollywood!

If we're going to keep going back on my birthdays spent on here 2016 also didn't get a mention since I didn't have a desk chair the entire month so I couldn't get any work done.
2015, I turned 25 and gave you:

25 Things About Me:

1) I can not stand it when I tell people my age and they freak out because they thought I was younger.

2) I mainly love watching TV shows from the '60's. But I love old movies from before then.

3) If I'm upset and anyone wants to mellow me out; a 3 Musketeers bar and Dr Pepper is all they need.

4) I love 3 Musketeers chocolate bars and movies about The Three Musketeers.
In one week I saw three different versions of the same story from different years.

5) When I was 14 I wrote down what I wanted in 10 years. I've only managed one which was to travel to at least three different countries.
(Thankfully that one would have been my top pick.)

6) I know I wrote this because I have all the journals I've written since middle school.

7) Thanks to my obsession with Meg Cabot's Princess Diaries these journals are filled with random things.

8) Speaking of Meg Cabot. I spent all my time in my 9th grade computer class reading her blog.

9) I call the Summer of 2013 "The Summer of Grease" because I spent it watching the movie repeatedly.
And it's all I care to remember from it.

10) I didn't have my first drink when I turned 21, I waited almost a year until I was 22.

11) I am an incredibly late bloomer.

12) I tend to enjoy things most people don't.
If a movie get's low ratings it's probably a favorite.

13) On the other hand; I'm not usually a fan of highly popular things. Exa. super hero movies, In 'n' Out burgers, most musicians on the top 40.

14) The only full novel I've read in an entire day was Meg Cabot's Princess in the Spotlight.

15) In 2009 I only read 5 new books, spending six months trying to read Gregory Maguire's Wicked.

16) Even though my bedroom walls and even my blog are pink; it is not my favorite color.

17) I'm kind of jealous of people my age.

18) I have no problem admitting that because I know that what I'm jealous of is mainly an idea. And I know I'm lucky to have what I do and don't have.

19) I was once in a Best Buy commercial that only aired in stores.

20) I absolutely hate it when people mispronounce or misspell my name.
It's Diana. Not Diane, Dianna, Deanna or Daina!

21) I have only ever seen the first and last 20 minutes of The Notebook and don't have much of an intention to see what happens in between.

22) I have written letters to myself every night before my birthday since I was about 16.

23) My height is 5'1/2 but will tell people I'm 5'1 except on official forms where I'll just leave it at 5''.

24) I'm a huge fan of mythology, especially the Greek goddess Artemis (Diana to the Romans) and have found that we have a long list of things in common.

25) I am an Aquarius but have a fear of large bodies of water.

Of course I doubt anything could beat 2014's "Diana" themed playlist. In which I made a playlist filled with songs that have my name in them.

Finishing off this timeline 2013 and 2012 mainly consisted of me saying "birthdays: no big deal."

The first birthday I celebrated on here was my 22nd! {sigh} I guess it is a good thing that I no longer see myself as that person. Whoever she was.

NOTE THE BANNER ABOVE SAYS IT ENDS ON THE 7TH, BUT CONSIDERING I'M SO LATE POSTING THIS (AND I MADE IT WHEN I WAS 23) I'LL LEAVE IT UP UNTIL THE 10TH.
