30 Song Challenge

This, like most challenges like this, is technically suppose to be a 30 day challenge but I've decided to make it weekly because; sadly, I'll only be blogging for 28 more weeks (not counting the final blogoversary week). Yeah, typical me I'm late.
In my defense I just thought of this last night.

So normally I'd be posting one song; but since I'm already two behind this will be the one exception.

Song #1
Favorite Song

I've always been really drawn to Dream A Little Dream of Me. There's just something that makes it sound so charming in an old fashion sense. And not just because it is an old song.

Song #2
Least Favorite Song

This one was hard only because I'm putting these songs on a Spotify playlist and I kept thinking why would I want to put my least favorite song on a playlist I'll probably listen to on occasion. So this is more like my least favorite that I can stand to listen to. Honestly anything else isn't worth a second thought anyway.
The reason for my dislike of it, though I have since moved on, is because it played a lot during the first few months of my senior year in high school. I've shared on here before that those months were pretty rough and it was the first time I dealt with depression. Well, hearing a song repeatedly saying "Maybe I'm crazy" did not help.

Wanna make it worse? My mom was a fan of it and would not only not let me change it whenever it played but would singalong. Yeah...

It was really the Gnarls Barkley cover, this one I found on a list made by Tamera Ireland Stone for her book Every Last Word, and I do prefer the slowed down tone of it.

Song #3
Song that makes you happy

Like A Virgin making me happy probably ties-in to maybe the summer 6 years ago when my cousin and I saw the last bit of Shrek where Fiona comes out singing it. After that it just kind of stuck and I made it my anthem for the rest of the year.
